2. Services Provided

MASH Kitchens provides catering services including but not limited to:

  • Event catering

  • Corporate catering

  • Private catering

  • Buffet catering

  • Drop-off catering

  • Collection catering orders

  • Meal preparation / batch cooking

All services are subject to availability and confirmation of booking.

3. Service Area

Catering services are available within 10 miles of N9 0DL to ensure safe food transportation.

Primary service area includes North London and surrounding areas.

Orders outside this radius cannot be accepted.

4. Delivery Charges

Delivery fees are based on distance from N9 0DL.

3–5 miles | £10–£15
5–8 miles | £15
8–10 miles | £20

Delivery fees are fixed and not subject to discounts, including large order discounts.

Parking must be available for delivery access.

5. Booking Process

Enquiries may be made via:

A booking is only confirmed once a quotation has been accepted and the deposit has been received.

6. Deposit & Payment Terms

A 50% deposit is required to secure a booking.

The remaining 50% balance must be paid no later than 48 hours before the fulfilment date.

Failure to complete payment within this timeframe may result in cancellation of the order.

MASH Kitchens reserves the right to decline or cancel bookings where payment terms are not met.

7. Order Changes & Guest Numbers

Final guest numbers should ideally be confirmed at the time of order.

Changes to order quantities may be requested up to 14 days prior to the fulfilment date, subject to approval.

All minimum charges stated within the quotation remain applicable.

8. Cancellation Policy

More than 14 days before fulfilment date → Full refund issued.

Between 7 and 14 days before fulfilment date → 50% refund issued.

Within 48 hours of fulfilment → 25% refund issued.

Cancellations within 24–48 hours may still incur costs due to ingredient purchasing and preparation already undertaken.

Deposits are refundable only if cancellation occurs more than 14 days prior to the fulfilment date.

9. Dietary Requirements & Allergens

MASH Kitchens accommodates a variety of dietary requirements where possible.

Customers must declare all dietary restrictions and allergies in advance.

The kitchen handles the following allergens:

  • Celery

  • Cereals containing gluten (wheat, rye, barley, oats)

  • Lupin

  • Milk

  • Mustard

  • Peanuts

  • Sesame

  • Soybeans

  • Sulphur dioxide / sulphites

  • Tree nuts

No other allergens are present within the kitchen environment.

While strict food handling procedures are followed, customers with severe allergies should inform MASH Kitchens at the time of booking.

10. Food Handling & Storage

Once food has been collected or delivered, responsibility transfers to the customer.

Customers are advised:

  • Food should be stored correctly

  • Food should be consumed within 24 hours

  • Food must be refrigerated where appropriate

MASH Kitchens does not use preservatives. Improper storage may result in food spoilage.

MASH Kitchens cannot accept responsibility for food once it leaves our control.

11. Delivery & Collection

Delivery and collection time windows will be agreed in advance.

Customers must ensure:

  • Accessible delivery location

  • Available parking for delivery

Failure to provide access or parking may delay delivery.

12. Catering Equipment

Disposable catering equipment may be provided at additional cost.

Available items may include:

  • Plates

  • Cutlery

  • Bowls

  • Napkins

  • Plastic cups

These are charged at £1 per plate setting and are not subject to discounts.

13. Staffing

MASH Kitchens does not provide on-site staff including chefs, servers or bartenders.

All catering services are drop-off or collection based only.

14. Alcohol

MASH Kitchens does not supply alcohol.Customers must arrange alcohol independently if required.

15. Photography

MASH Kitchens reserves the right to photograph food and prepared catering displays for marketing purposes.

Event guests will not be photographed.

16. Liability

MASH Kitchens maintains high food safety and hygiene standards.

However, liability is limited to the value of the order supplied.

MASH Kitchens cannot be held responsible for:

  • Improper storage of food after delivery/collection

  • Allergic reactions where allergens were not disclosed

  • Delays caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control

Customers are responsible for ensuring that all relevant dietary information has been disclosed.

17. Extenuating Circumstances

In the event of circumstances beyond reasonable control (including serious illness, supply disruptions, or other unforeseen operational issues), MASH Kitchens reserves the right to:

  • Reschedule the booking where possible, or

  • Provide a full refund if fulfilment cannot occur.

18. Agreement

By accepting a quotation and paying a deposit, the customer confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
